The Queensland border town of Goondiwindi has been placed on alert with more COVID-19 exposure sites set to be announced.Two of the cases were unvaccinated while the third had one dose of the vaccine.

Premier Annastacaia Palaszczuk said to expect the list to be updated with more sites later in the day.Some exposure sites relate to a truck driver who spent time in Goondiwindi on the weekend and later tested positive in New South Wales. Queensland Health has deemed a number of venues in the town as "close" and "casual contact" sites, including the BP Truckstop on the Cunningham Highway, Coles on Herbert Street, and Kmart on Marshall Street.
