Why Windows 10 users should install this 'reasonably sensible' Google Chrome update
More often than not, if I am writing about Google updates, then they will be eminently sensible ones. Things like the Google Camera app update to fix a vulnerability that would enable an attacker to. That was, without any shadow of a doubt, an essential update that helped secure hundreds of millions of users.
So when an update to the Chrome web browser emerges that is described by the Google software engineer who coded it as not being perfect, indeed only reasonably sensible, you might think I'd be advising caution before updating. You'd be wrong. Very wrong indeed. Everyone who runs Google Chrome on a Windows 10 machine should make sure they are updated to the latest version, 79.0.3945.130, with the utmost urgency. And here's why.
