Deputy PM Chrystia Freeland would be well\u002Dadvised to stop telling Canadians personal anecdotes about how she’s just like one of them.
We apologize, but this video has failed to load.That’s terrific for her and her family, but Freeland knows many families in Toronto and in small towns need their cars, or trucks, because they can’t, in fact, take the subway, or walk or bike everywhere, and their car is a necessity to get to or do their jobs.
She’s busy. For better or worse, she practically runs the federal government for Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. Ditto her recent tweet that, “Inflation in Canada is now down to 2.8% — the lowest in over 2 years and back within the Bank of Canada’s target range. And it is now lower than in any other G7 country.”
