After decades in the doldrums of the NBA — including an 18-year stretch from 1995 to 2012 when the team made the playoffs just once — the Warriors have won four championships since 2015. It is the only franchise with more than one title in that timeframe.According to Forbes
, the Warriors are valued at $7.7 billion, over a $1 billion more than any other NBA franchise and are in the top three when considering all sports teams. The team has capitalized on the popularity of its trio of stars in Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green. Superstar Kevin Durant was also a member of two of the four championships which helped make the team the league's darlings.
It also unveiled the Chase Center, the team's new arena, in 2019, which moved its home base from Oakland to San Francisco.
