The GoldenKnights announced the team name and logo for their new AHL affiliate, the Henderson Silver Knights.
The logo draws inspiration from medieval themes, according to the release, featuring an armored warhorse that was thought to be synonymous with strength, endurance and fearlessness during battle.
The Silver Knights will initially play at Orleans Arena, a 9,500-seat multi-purpose arena in Paradise, Nevada, while its Henderson rink is being built.
