A gold and a silver at the National Youth Track and Field Championships
It was an amazing weekend for the Quinte Legion Lynx Track and Field team at the National Youth Track and Field Championships in Sherbroke Quebec
Aidan Crawford won a gold medal in the Discus. The 16-year-old is a grade 11 student at Eastside Secondary in Belleville. 17-year-old Kevin Salaudeen continued the momentum by winning the silver medal in U18 Triple Jump with a leap of 13.97 metres, a personal best. Sydney Johnson had a great meet placing 5th in both U16 girls discus and shot put with a new personal best throw of 12.14m.
