Delta Air Lines is getting ready for a"really busy" holiday season, according to CEO Ed Bastian. Bastian says that bookings"look good" going into the new year and that he is expecting a traditional travel demand patterns to play out. Overall, Bastian thinks that"we're entering the period of the new normal for travel," with the"big pop" from the revenge travel boom being over.
So what does that mean for Delta Air Lines ?"We're now back into more of a normalized pricing environment, but we still have a great outlook on our revenue.
