Godzilla Minus One
Godzilla is back to wreak more havoc. Later this year, Godzilla Minus Zero is slated to hit theaters. A sequel to the Academy Award-winning Godzilla Minus One, which snagged an Oscar for Best Visual Effects after earning critical acclaim and collecting $116 million at the global box office.
Taking place in post-World War II Japan, Godzilla Minus One follows Ryunosuke Kamiki's Koichi, a solider who previously confronted Godzilla during the war and proceeded to desert his station. Until now, little was known about the highly-anticipated follow-up. Now, the first trailer for Godzilla Minus Zero has been revealed at CinemaCon. In the trailer, we see the return of the family from the first film and glimpses of debris falling. Finally, a shot is shown of Godzilla walking by the Statue of Liberty, indicating the kaiju icon will make his way to America in the highly-anticipated sequel.
