It wasn’t those $399 Never Surrender gold high-top running shoes. It wasn’t a T-shirt featuring Teflon Don’s mugshot. It wasn’t even dubious steaks, or third-rate wine. It was the Bible. And Pastor Trump was making it available in Holy Week. Yes, you, too, can own a large-print copy of the God Bless the U.S.A.
” Michael Bloomberg once quipped that for someone who claims to be a billionaire, the Donald always seems to be asking for money. So why is Trump’s hand always in other people’s pockets? One of the reasons is that, for the last three years, Trump has averaged $90,000 a day in legal fees. This past February, the presidential candidate averaged $230,000 a day on lawyers.
