General Motors has announced that it will join Ford in opening up its EVs to Tesla's charging network and use the company's connector.

GM Chair and CEO Mary Barra said in a statement that “our vision of the all-electric future means producing millions of world-class EVs across categories and price points, while creating an ecosystem that will accelerate mass EV adoption.” Rebecca Tinucci, Tesla’s Senior Director of Charging Infrastructure, said that partnering with GM is another step in the company’s mission to “accelerate the world’s transition to sustainable energy.”
