The taillight upgrade will be compatible with classic Defender models produced between 1983 to 2016 car auto cars
that got tired of the factory-spec small round taillights will soon have the chance to upgrade to a new set of modern-looking LEDs created by Glohh. The GL-2 taillights will be available in late 2023, complying with all regulations as the “first fully integrated combination lamp dedicated to modernizing the Defender”.
Glohh didn’t fully reveal the design of the GL-2 taillights but published a teaser shot with the Defender driving in a water crossing. The new lights appear to be horizontally arranged and quite elongated, taking up a larger area than the original round units of the Defender. The company says that the GL-2 consists of two units – a large one with dual reverse, fog, and position lights, and a smaller one housing additional position lights and turn signals.
