If you’re the diner who enjoys a menu where Italian, Indian, and American bistro dishes make happy together, the new Fusion59 might punch your fusion dining ticket.
The menu designed by consulting chef Kristi Courtney merges global cuisines in a menu that feels familiar to the Houston palate.
Appetizers include fried calamari with preserved citrus and spicy remoulade; roasted red pepper hummus with naan bread; panko shrimp; vegetable or chicken samosas with cilantro chutney and spicy tamarind sauce; hot chicken sliders with sweet chili mayonnaise; fried mortadella and melted gouda sando; chicken wings ; and a meat and cheese board. Gourmet pizzas are built on naan.
Houston mixologist JoJo Martinez developed the beverage program which includes beer, wine, and a variety of craft cocktails including Mi Amorita ; Marty’s Mai Tai ; Peaches Down in Georgia ; French 59 ; and Family Tradition . Fusion59 is open Sunday through Thursday 3 to 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday 3 to 11 p.m. with happy hour daily from 3 to 6 p.m.
