Glasgow cop seriously injured after officers called to Drumchapel 'rammy'.
A Glasgow police officer was rushed to hospital with serious injuries following an alleged disturbance in the city.
Following their arrival, police claim that a large group of people became hostile towards officers and began assaulting them and shouting abuse. A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 11.25pm on Saturday, July 16, officers attended reports of a disturbance on Glenkirk Drive, Drumchapel. “This resulted in a female officer being taken to hospital for treatment. Medical staff describe her injuries as serious.
