A Glasgow weapon-wielding robber snared for a bank raid after handing over his card with his name on it has been jailed.
The High Court in Glasgow previously heard that he withdrew the balance of his card, a total of £3. Ferguson then said 'one more thing', walked around the counter and added, 'give me the rest of the money. Mr Macintosh added: "CCTV confirmed the identity of Ferguson by reference to his bank details and comparing the footage of photos police had of him."
Ferguson admitted robbing the Farmfood shop as well as attempting to rob the bank and florist. He further plead guilty to an assault charge and resisting police.
