The Jaguars advance to the regional tournament for the first time in program history. Johnson will face Brennan or Laredo United in a regional semifinal at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Northside Sports Gym.The Jaguars went up 45-29 at the 4:12 mark of the third quarter after Plata nailed a 3. Plata later completed a 4-point play after she was fouled on a corner 3-pointer, putting Johnson up 51-38 with 1:43 left in the third.The Knights were led by senior Carlea Owens’ 23 points.
