Clarity is coming to the Giants’ backfield as running back James Robinson was given his walking papers Sunday.
The Giants officially waived Robinson as part of Sunday’s cuts, which featured 10 other players as of early afternoon.
Robinson received plenty of reps in the Giants’ preseason finale against the Jets, including a highlight reel 10-yard plunge where he carried several Jets tacklers., the former North Carolina Tar Heels quarterback turned linebacker.
