The Giants looked at two quarterbacks to trade up for in the draft and got neither.

But as it turns out, Maye wasn’t the only quarterback the Giants were interested in.Giants head coach Brian Daboll was OK with trading up for LSU quarterback Jayden Daniels, who actually went No. 2 to the Commanders.
In five seasons Jones has 62 touchdowns to 40 interceptions and the Giants are 22-36-1 with him as the starter.
