Family dinosaur festival with dino poo and gloop is coming to Lancaster this weekend
But it's true as Dino Fest is coming to various venues in Lancaster on Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 July. The two-day family festival celebrates the extinct creatures and will see eerily realistic dinosaurs roaming freely around the city centre.
There will be a baby dino puppet to meet and greet, fairground rides and face-painting, while a soft play area will be available for young visitors. They include real fossil exhibits courtesy of Dinosaur Isle Museum of the Isle of Wight at Lancaster City Museum, walking tours visiting the history of Sir Richard Owen and hands-on Dino Fossil Dig activity for your junior Jurassic fans.
