Ottawa took a 1-0 lead with 1:26 left in the first period. Gerrior took a nice pass from Jack Beck and slid the puck under Kingston goalie Ivan Zhigalov. Ottawa made it 4-1 with 9:51 left when Gerrior scored after some nifty moves. A bit more than a minute later, Beck scored — his third point of the game. A power-play goal by Owen Outwater made it 5-2.
