George Stephanopoulos tests positive for coronavirus, but is 'basically asymptomatic' so far
George Stephanopoulos, chief anchor for ABC News, announced Monday he had tested positive for the coronavirus, making him the latest high-profile broadcast journalist to become infected with the disease.
Stephanopoulos suggested he likely contracted Covid-19, the disease caused by the novel coronavirus, from his wife, actress and comedian Ali Wentworth, who disclosed she had tested positive earlier this month.
As for his wife, Stephanopoulos said Wentworth is “doing much, much better” and “going on her fifth day now with no fever, which is really a great sign.” She is also “slowly getting out of bed a little bit more each day, so we’re really happy about that,” Stephanopoulos said.The Great Depression transformed economic behavior for at least a decade — and
