JUST IN: A curfew will go into effect in New York City from 11 p.m. Monday to 5 a.m. Tuesday, the governor and mayor said. The NYPD will also double its presence.

"Not acceptable," the mayor said, stressing that there's "no situation where a police vehicle should drive into a crowd of protesters or New Yorkers."De Blasio also called for the officer who pulled a gun on a group of protesters to be fired.

In Miami, video overnight showed a group of protesters shattering the glass door of a CVS as they prepared to loot the store -- only to be stopped by a group of peaceful protesters who formed a line to prevent them from entering.
