The Clooneys join Rihanna, Pink, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Angelina Jolie, Kim Kardashian West, Kylie Jenner, Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively and others as celebrities who have each donated at least $1 million toward coronavirus relief.
Dolly Parton also pledged seven figures, announcing on April 1 that she is donating $1 million toward research efforts for a COVID-19 cure.
"My longtime friend Dr. Naji Abumrad, who’s been involved in research at Vanderbilt for many years, informed me that they were making some exciting advancements towards research of the coronavirus for a cure," she wrote on."I am making a donation of $1 million to Vanderbilt towards that research and to encourage people that can afford it to make donations."
Rihanna, Pink, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Angelina Jolie, Kim Kardashian West, Kylie Jenner, James Taylor, Bruno Mars and Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively have each donated at least $1 million toward coronavirus relief.
