Gee-Gees stun Ravens in OUA men's basketball final, Ravens women win provincial title
“Obviously, I’m thrilled. This is a huge accomplishment to get this done in this gym in front of this crowd. It says a lot about my guys. I’m just really proud.”
The Ravens, who went into Saturday’s game undefeated at home this season, finished atop the OUA East with an 18-4 record, including seven straight wins to finish the regular season. The Gee-Gees finished with a 17-5 record. It was the third time the teams had played each other in the past month. Carleton won both previous games: 67-61 at the Capital Hoops Classic at TD Place and 77-60 on home court in the OUA regular-season finale.
A Kevin Otoo three-pointer with four minutes left in the third quarter gave the Gee-Gees a 50-34 lead, and they were ahead 55-40 after three quarters.Article content
