Maybe the delay was best for everybody who wanted to see Henderson live. There weren’t many people on the course when she first teed off, but when play resumed at 10:30 a.m. the crowds that followed her around the fairways were building. Golf Canada didn’t want people to miss Henderson finishing her round or the emotional walk up No. 18 by Charlottetown’s Lorie Kane, 57, as she closed out her career at the CP Women’s Open with her 30th appearance.
