Gabriel Macht, the star of 'Suits,' expresses his remorse to fans who credit the show for inspiring them to pursue law school, acknowledging the show's glamorized portrayal of the legal profession.

Gabriel Macht, the star of the hit legal drama 'Suits,' has a unique reaction to fans who credit the show for inspiring them to pursue law school . Macht, 53, expressed his remorse, often apologizing to these individuals for inadvertently leading them down that path. He jokingly acknowledged the show's glamorous portrayal of the legal profession, stating that it might not be as exciting as depicted on screen.

'There are so many kids that have gone to law school because of the show — because they think it’s fast-moving, there’s family, there’s loyalties, it’s cool, it’s slick. People are witty. There’s a lot of drama, all this kind of stuff,' Macht explained. He lightheartedly added, 'When people come up to me, and they’re like, ‘I went to law school because of you,’ I always apologize profusely.' 'If you like to read, that is great because you’re going to sit with a book, like this, for hours,' he confessed. Macht also shared anecdotes about the show's dedicated fanbase, mentioning a fan who had watched 'Suits' an astounding 15 times. 'Anybody who’s watched it even once to me is like, ‘Oh wow, that’s cool. You were into it, great. You got a lot of time on your hands.’ But for the people that have watched it twice, and five times and 15 times. ... I met a guy who watched it 15 times,' Macht said. 'And I was like, all right, well we’re going to take a picture together where you’re in that corner and I’m in this corner.’”The actor expressed his surprise and admiration for fans who dedicated themselves to watching all 134 episodes across the show's nine seasons. 'The thing about this show... It’s commitment. People have watched 134 episodes, which is our nine seasons,' he said. 'They’ve watched it multiple times. And so for me, that is fanatical a little bit.' Macht is set to reprise his role as Harvey Specter in the upcoming 'Suits' spinoff, 'Suits: LA,' premiering on February 23rd on NBC. The actor recently teased the return of his character with footage of his outfit, showcasing a shirt embroidered with the initials 'H.S.' and shoes featuring the name 'Harvey' on the soles
