After a run of initial seasons on Fox, a series of direct-to-video movies, and a short-lived switch to Comedy Central, Futurama was seemingly done for good — until Hulu revived the beloved show a full decade later. Hulu even revived the series with a 20-episode order, ensuring that the length of this run will be in keeping with the show’s early network days.
Nearly as miraculous as Futurama’s return is the fact that the original Futurama cast is back as well. Screen Rant is excited to premiere a featurette boasting commentary by show creator Matt Groening, executive producer David X. Cohen, Billy West , John DiMaggio , Katey Sagal , Phil Lamarr , and more. Check it out below:

More About Futurama Season 11 As described in the featurette, Futurama season 11 is set to revisit a number of the series’ memorable characters. The trailer nods to Futurama characters including Mom, Roberto, and even the parasitic worms first introduced in the 2001 episode “Parasites Lost”.
Whether or not a Futurama season 12 follows this revival, the fact that many longtime series writers have joined the original cast is a promising indicator of the show’s continued quality. At this point, any new Futurama is something of a gift, and new Futurama that can match the hilarious—and emotional—highs of previous seasons is a marvel.
