SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT Summary Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga star Anya Taylor-Joy has opened up about ground-breaking CGI used in the movie to make the transition from younger actor Alyla Browne to her seamless within the film. Furiosa is split into chapters, with the first two starring Browne as the titular character when she was a little girl.
According to Variety, while speaking on "The Kelly Clarkson Show," Taylor-Joy revealed how Furiosa utilized ground-breaking CGI to make Browne look more like her adult co-star as her portion of the movie went on. She explained how director George Miller pursued the idea, making Browne look 35% like Taylor-Joy by the start of the movie, and 80% like her by the end of Chapter 2.
George Miller had the idea very early on. The audience was already getting used to a new Furiosa . He wanted the transition from both actors playing her to be seamless. And so I did two days of the craziest things you could ever possibly imagine. And they mixed our faces together.
