Pieschke was first taken into custody at his Montreal home in May 2020. He was charged with possession, distribution and production of child pornography between 2014 and 2020 — to which he pleaded guilty. However, after failing to appear for his sentencing hearing in late January, a Canada-wide warrant was issued for his arrest.
Quebec law enforcement considered Pieschke one of the province’s most wanted criminals.
