PHSD says the spill is not in the vicinity of David Street water intake, but residents who pump directly from lake told to monitor their water
Public Health Sudbury & Districts is notifying the public that a fuel oil spill that originally occurred Jan. 14 at a residence on Gennings Street has now migrated to the shoreline of Ramsey Lake in Greater Sudbury.
“Currently, the risk to the public from the spill is low,” said Burgess Hawkins, a manager in Public Health Sudbury & Districts’ Health Protection Division.
