The mysteries of Frozen2 are beginning to be revealed.

The mysteries ofPrincesses Anna and Elsa, Kristen Bell and Idina Menzel, were on hand during Saturday's presentation at the D23 Expo in Anaheim, California, to reveal new details about the sequel -- and perform a new song, too.

Along with Jonathan Groff and Josh Gad, who play Kristoff and Olaf, the quartet took the stage to perform live a new musical numbers, seemingly titled"Some Things Never Change.""Some things never change / Like how I'm holding on tight to you," Bell sang as Gad kissed her on the cheek. Groff piped in with a verse, which he sang to a stuffed version of Sven, doing voices for both.

Franchise newcomers Sterling K. Brown and Evan Rachel Wood were also in attendance for the presentation and revealed who they will play in the sequel. Wood voices Queen Iduna, mother to Elsa and Anna, in the movie's prologue. Brown, meanwhile, provides the voice for Lieutenant Mattias, who leads a troop that's been lost in an enchanted forest for over 30 years.

"There was one question people kept asking: Why does Elsa have powers?" Buck said, with co-director Jennifer Lee chiming in,"Yeah, we were wondering that too." According to Lee, the movie will also ask questions like: Why was Anna born the way she was? Where were there parents really going when that ship went down? Is there really such a thing as happily ever after?was only a working title and the footage screened during the presentation was of Buck and Lee's research trips to Norway, Iceland and Finland. To stay up to date on breaking news, sign up for ET's daily newsletter.
