Annual Canada Post 'Stamp Out Hunger' food drive happens this weekend
This Saturday, local postal workers will be out and about, not delivering mail, but gathering donations for the annual Canada Post Stamp Out Hunger food drive.
“The Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive provides residents with an easy way to donate food to those in need and the need this year is greater than ever,” says a news release from Canada Post. “The Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive Day is the largest food drive in the city, collecting food from Heyden to Garden River, to Gros Cap and all neighbourhoods within the city.”
