Good Friday to you all. I’m sure that every sketch comedy group has done a sketch with Jesus asking, “Why do you call it Good Friday?” And, in keeping with the holiday, Today’s Jays game is an Apple TV game.

There is depressingly little news about the Jays. Yesterday’s news was Davis Schneider being optioned. Hopefully, he can figure things out there. We could use a right-handed bat. He'd be great to have if he could remember how he did things in 2023. I’m not optimistic on it happening, but with the way his major league career started, he’ll get every chance to regain his form. Nathan Lukes will be back today. As much as it must be great to be a major league baseball player, I can’t imagine spending two days with my new baby and then having to leave. It will be interesting to see if Addison Barger still gets playing time with Lukes back. Zach Pop signed a minor league deal with the Mariners. I wish him the best of luck. He has elbow inflammation, so it might be a bit before he pitches. Shi Davidi has a profile of Arjun Nimmala at Sportsnet. It is going to be interesting following his career. He doesn’t turn 20 until October, so we have a few years to wait before he’s in Toronto. I don’t know how many of you have Apple tv. I’ve watched most of the shows on it that I’m interested in, so waiting for the season to end so I can drop it again. But I did watch the start of Your Friends and Neighbors the new Jon Hamm series. If you have a suggestion of something I might have missed on Apple, let me know.
