Speaking to the press about his win, which marks his second best original song trophy , John noted that he was "so moved, so overwhelmed." His favorite part about having two Oscars? "One for each of my boys," he joked, referring to his sons Elijah and Zachary. "We’ve already been FaceTiming them in the car."Taupin added to the sentimental moment between friends, explaining that the key his decades-long friendship with John is as simple as their mutual love of music.
