The crime spree started in Corte Madera, continued in San Rafael and San Anselmo and ended in San Pablo, police said.
A robbery suspect was arrested on allegations he stole a vehicle from a Marin County home and then carjacked a driver while fleeing authorities.
The incident began around 3:30 p.m. Sunday when police were alerted to a robbery at the Macy’s store in Corte Madera, Central Marin police Sgt. Jeff Peterson said Monday. Officers arrested two suspects at the scene. A third drove away and was spotted on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard, Peterson said.Crime and Public Safety |Officers were notified later about a potential sighting of the alleged robber on Forbes Avenue in San Rafael.
