"Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become icy and slippery," Environment Canada said.The following areas are also under a freezing drizzle advisory: Vaughan, Richmond Hill, Markham, Mississauga, Brampton, Durham Region, Pickering, Oshawa, Oakville, Newmarket, Halton Hills, Hamilton and Collingwood.
Bus services to all Halton District and Halton Catholic District schools have been cancelled due to the weather, Halton Student Transportation Services said in a post on X, formerly Twitter, Thursday morning. All schools remain open.
