Speaking in Markham, Ont., on Tuesday, Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland addressed reports of growing tension between her and Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
Responding to a question about whether Trudeau has assured her that she will stay on as finance minister, Freeland responded that “the Prime Minister is a very eloquent man and leader, and it's for the Prime Minister to speak for himself. It is true that I had a long conversation with Prime Minister on Friday.
