Former child actor Savage starred as protagonist Kevin Arnold in the original series in the late 1980s and early '90s. The beloved series was rebooted in 2021, starring Elisha"EJ" Williams as the main character Dean Williams and Don Cheadle as the show's narrator. In a report by Deadline, producer 20th Television said it had been made aware of allegations made against Savage and launched an investigation."Recently, we were made aware of allegations of inappropriate conduct by Fred Savage, and as is policy, an investigation was launched," the company said in a statement shared with the US trade publication.
"Upon its completion, the decision was made to terminate his employment as an executive producer and director of The Wonder Years."
