A 2-year-old girl will have"long-term complications" after she suffered severe head injuries that left her hospitalized last month and which doctorsThe girl's fosters parents, 30-year-old Angel Foster-Burks and 34-year-old Clayton Burks, are facing child endangering charges. Foster-Burks was arrested on Wednesday, while Burks remains at large.
The investigation determined that Foster-Burks and Burk were the foster parents for the 2-year-old and several other children, believed to be her siblings, at a home on the 300 block of Glenwood Avenue in Franklinton. "Evidence suggested Mr. Burks caused the abuse while Ms. Foster-Burks was a passive participant," court records said.
Police said the other children have been removed from the home and are safe. Additional information about the other children was not available.
