Fort Albany Deputy Chief Terry Metatawabin said it's an especially emotional time for the community's elders.Terry Metatawabin is the deputy chief of Fort Albany First Nation, which is located on the James Bay coast. 'I grieve for the ones that didn't come home': St. Anne's survivor helping to search for unmarked graves"We have about a half dozen high priority sites that we have to investigate," he said.
Metatawabin said it will take at least one to three months for researchers to share their findings after they've finished searching the grounds with ground-penetrating radar.
