Lynch, a 35-year-old resident of Lower Paxton Township in suburban Harrisburg, will formally launch his candidacy Tuesday, including activation of a campaign Web site and various social media platforms. Lynch’s highest public profile to date has probably come from serving as community policing liason and later as Director of Community Relations and Engagement for the City of Harrisburg, from March 2018 through August 2021.to distribute more than a 500,000 pounds of food from the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank to city residents over 15 weeks at the height of the coronavirus pandemic.
Lynch spent most of his childhood in Steelton and the Oberlin area of Swatara Township, before moving with his mom to Susquehanna Township in 10th grade. After graduation from Susquehanna, Lynch enrolled at Messiah University to study public relations and communications.
