As part of his release, Hurren must continue to seek psychological counselling, take prescribed medications, seek full employment and report his financial information to a parole officer.Man who crashed through gates of Rideau Hall to threaten PM loses sentence appeal The parole board documents indicate that he will now move to "a room at a house" with a local organization. The documents also suggest that he has been permitted to travel to visit family "without reported issues."
In 2021, Hurren was sentenced to six years in prison — minus a year served — after crashing his truck through the gates of Rideau Hall in July 2020. He lost an appeal last year.
