SAN DIEGO — The former MTS employee accusing San Diego County Supervisor Nathan Fletcher of sexual harassment and abuse spoke publicly for the first time since filing the lawsuit.
"When those in power are able to influence others' perception of who to believe or support, the vulnerable will always be deterred from sharing their truths," Figueroa's blog says."Sexual harassment in the workplace and intimidation are unacceptable."She filed a civil lawsuitagainst Fletcher and MTS on March 28.
Just days before the lawsuit was filed, Fletcher announced he was seeking treatment for alcoholism and PTSD. He ended his State Senate campaign as he checked into a treatment facility.
