Former Heisman winner Ricky Williams launches Highsman cannabis brand — via TheGrowthOp cannabis
As for the cannabis, Highsman will carry three strains curated by Williams and tailored to put a user in three different zones: Pregame sativas to help boost energy, Halftime hybrids to provide focus and Postgame indicas to relax and unwind.
Following the launch of strain-specific, pre-packaged eighths, the plan is to also introduce pre-rolls. Initially, the cannabis will be available at select retailers in California, Oregon and Nevada. The company reports that all offerings are designed to complement an active lifestyle both on and off the field. “Highsman is at the intersection of sports and cannabis and was created for fans and aficionados of both,” company CEO Eric Hammond says in the statement.
The brand is being launched “at a tipping point where sports and cannabis collide, and we are excited to continue to break boundaries between the two,” Hammond continues.Article content
