Former EPA head Scott Pruitt improperly spent $124,000 on travel, and federal inspectors recommend the government consider ways to recover the money
WASHINGTON—President Trump’s former top environmental adviser improperly spent $124,000 on first-class flights and other upgraded airfare, according to federal inspectors, who recommended that the government consider ways to recover the money.
Scott Pruitt resigned his post as administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency last July amid allegations of ethical lapses and improper spending.
