BREAKING: Jussie Smollett has been sentenced to 150 days in jail and 30 months of probation. A Chicago judge also ordered him to pay $120,106 in restitution to the city and a $25,000 fine.
Smollett, 39, appeared in court Thursday to hear his fate after he was convicted of fabricating a hate crime attack in 2019.Smollett was also ordered to pay $120,000 in restitution to the city of Chicago, fined $25,000 and must serve 30 months of felony probation.
As Cook County Judge James Linn was imposing a sentence, Smollett screamed out,"I am not suicidal.
