Bob Herman has been chosen by the party to run in Thunder Bay-Superior North.
THUNDER BAY — The Conservative Party of Canada has chosen its candidate to run in the city’s north-side riding.
According to a biography on the Thunder Bay-Superior North Conservative electoral district association website, Herman was an armed forces reservist in the Lake Superior Scottish Regiment as a teenager before attending, and graduating from, Confederation College with a diploma in aviation administration management.
During his tenure as police chief, he was also the president of the Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police, the first chief from Thunder Bay to hold that position.
