Forward Alexandre Lavoie and SønderjyskE are in the playoffs in the Metal Ligaen in Denmark, while defenceman Alexis Sansfaçon and Tours are in the league final on the France second league, and Luke Adam and Straubing Tigers are competing in the Deutsche Eishockey Liga playoffs in Germany.Ryan MacInnis, son of Port Hood native Al MacInnis, is also in the DEL playoffs as a member of Adler Mannheim.
