'Get out of the way, guys, and put a woman up there.'
When asked about the future of the famed role, former 007 Pierce Brosnan said he thinks a woman should take over after men have played the part for almost half a century.
"I think we've watched the guys do it for the last 40 years, get out of the way, guys, and put a woman up there," he told The Hollywood Reporter."I think it would be exhilarating, it would be exciting."“The #MeToo movement has been relevant and significant and well needed in our society, so they'll have to address that,” he added.

Will they team up for a modern take on the films? That remains to be seen. But we do know they will be battling a new villain, played by Rami Malek.
As for Lynch, many know the rising star from her recent role as Maria Rambeau in the 2019 smash hit"Captain Marvel."
