The shop has always been popular with players

It's the barbers where Forest's new record-breaking signing Taiwo Awoniyi had his hair cut this week, just like a whole host of other Reds players. Diogo Gonçalves, Tobias Figueiredo, João Carvalho, Léo Bonatini have all had a trim at No. 9 Barbers in West Bridgford.

Although he's honoured to cut the famous players' hair he's not star struck, chatting to them like any other customer about family and the weather. Taiwo, the Nigerian forward signed from Union Berlin for a club-record fee in the region of £17.5m, was the latest to visit just this week. The most striking feature of the new look is a photo covering an entire wall of the view from the City Ground dugout, taken by Forest photographer Ritchie Sumpter. Anyone waiting for a hair cut can sit in one of six red dugout seats on a strip of artificial turf with blue sky and cloud ceiling panels overhead.

As an extra gesture of goodwill, fans who show their season ticket will get 15 per cent off. And if they really want to go the extra mile and demonstrate their allegiance to the Reds they get their hair sprayed red, or half red and half white, ahead of the game. It's only temporary and can be washed out the next day.View gallery Located opposite Trent Bridge, Elliott has also welcomed plenty of cricketers through the doors.
