Nottingham Forest have made bids for Huddersfield Town duo Lewis O'Brien and Harry Toffolo, The Athletic understands. NFFC are trying to prize away the pair for a combined fee of £10 million to £12 million. More from David_Ornstein & DTathletic
The AthleticThe newly promoted club are trying to prize away the two players for a combined fee of £10 million to £12 million, with O'Brien the more expensive of the two and Toffolo valued at a cut-price £2.5 million because he is in the final year of his contract.
However, Huddersfield also recognise their players may have ambitions to play Premier League football and will not stop that happening if what they deem to be an appropriate proposal arrives. Talks are ongoing, with Forest's manager, Steve Cooper, keen on recruiting a player who was heavily pursued by Leeds United last summer.
